In the continuously developing world of translations, a lively exchange with colleagues, clients and network partners is essential to keep up-to-date at all times. AP Fachübersetzungen in Nuremberg realized this very early on and has become a dedicated member of two of Germany’s most notable associations.
The German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer, BDÜ) is the largest German professional association in this sector. Our managing director, Mr Alexander Podarewski (specialist translator and simultaneous interpreter), has been an active member for many years. The association offers an ideal platform for sustainable cooperation with colleagues and partners as well as expansion of our nationwide network. Therefore, the completion of large-scale translation and interpreting projects, where several language experts are needed, poses no problem for us at all.
In addition, we also efficiently use the seminars, webinars and training courses offered, thus creating a significant added value for our clients, who benefit from our continuous professional development.
The German Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft, BVMW) is Germany’s largest trade association. However, the BVMW is not only active in Germany but also in Europe and around the world. This regularly provides good opportunities for networking and exchanges with companies of any kind to which we offer support and advice in the scope of our professional interpreting and translation services.
We have also frequently provided specialist translations for the association itself and interpreted simultaneously on various occasions, such as the 2nd Federal Conference and the first Diplomatic Reception. At these events, we interpreted for the Danish Prime Minister, a multitude of ambassadors from different countries and for a Russian delegation, among others.
Moreover, we interpreted simultaneously from German into English and vice versa at the BVMW annual reception in front of over 3,000 guests on 27/01/2020. You can find out more about our especially exciting projects in our blog.
